What moves with MeerStack’s tooling today, what does not yet, and the public facts we relied on, each with its source and the date we read it.
What moves today
- Point the Datadog Agent you already run at MeerStack: metric series (v1 and v2), distributions, check runs, logs and host metadata are accepted unchanged.
- meerstack migrate datadog copies dashboards, monitors (composites included) and downtimes through the Datadog public API, or from an export file. Re-runs update instead of duplicating, and a report lists anything that needs attention.
- Old dashboard and monitor links resolve to the imported object through the migration ID map.
- Integration dashboards, monitors and log pipelines from the open-source integrations import with meerstack migrate integrations.
Not automatic yet
- SLOs, incidents and notebooks are not imported yet.
- Traces and APM data are not ingested yet; check runs, metrics and logs are.
- Run both in parallel until the alerts match; cut over paging last.
